Australia Win Mens Hockey World Cup 2010 in Delhi India

Australia have grabbed yet another Sports World Cup Trophy on Saturday 13 March 2010.

Australia are now the World champions in Men’s Hockey for next four Years from 2010 till 2014. 

Today, In Delhi, India, Australians knocked down Defending Champions Germany by 2-1 to obtain a World Champion Title in Men’s Hockey.

The Game started when Australian Hockey Team Took the lead which was later Equalised in Second Half by Germany Coutesy some Extra ordinary Technique applied in Scoring an Indirect Goal on a Penalty Corner that was awarded to them.

But Australians did not lose hope and again made some really Good moves. They kept on attacking German Defence and finally succeeded in putting the ball into the Goal making 2-1 lead over Germany that continued till the end of the game.

Australians have done a really big upset by winning this Men’s Hockey World Cup 2010 as Germany and Netherlands were the Favourites of The Tournament.

On the Other hand Netherlands secured Third Spot after crushing England in their Third Standing Match.

This is indeed a memorable victory for Australia as they have now named one more World title to them. Indeed Australians will celebrate their Historic Victory.
