The First question that comes up to your mind is that What is a university college?.
The answer to your question is that University College is an educational Institution that allows its students to acquire Tertiary Educational Degrees and may even carry on research projects but at the end of the day it is not recognized as a proper University.

The entire Result will be arranged and declared by ABC University and at the end of Duration when Students have passed all the Examinations a Degree will be handed over to the each individual Student by ABC University in which it will be stated that the student is now a qualified profesional who attended XYZ University one of our affiliated Institutions and have scored this much % marks.
In addition you will receive Character Certificate and University Degree Completion Certificate from XYZ University that you will have to attach along with your certificates while creating your curriculum vitae at the time of Job Seeking.
Different Countries have different rules for University Colleges.
There are a lot of Institutions that have University College in their name but that does not guarantee that its a University College as some Institutions use it for some reason so do a lot of research before jumping towards the conclusion.
A University College may be defined in easy terms as a University that is either awarding a degree of another Institution or has a low recognized Degree and that too offered on a very small scale on selective study courses and programs or is just preparing its students to sit for some examinations conducted on a large scale.
The Institution that is non autonomous and is dependent on other factors for the Degree it is awarding is termed as a university college.
Please do not confuse University colleges with Colleges offering Higher Secondary School Certificate Education as well as other higher education programs at under graduate and Masters levels.

Government College University Lahore is not a University College as it awards a degree of its own.
