Ring is a new Voice Calling Function offered by Gmail the Online Web Mail Service Providing Company.
Through Ring Service, The User’s of Gmail will be able to make Internet Phone Calls just like dialing from a Normal Phone Handset.
Gmail has been Offering Voice and Video Chat services for Two Years but by the Introduction of Ring the User’s have the ability to Dial a Regular Landline or Mobile Phone Number from the Gmail Chat.
The User’s will need to Install Google Voice and Video Plugin. After the Installation a Button stating “Call Now” will appear a the top of the Chat List. The User’s may enter the Name of their contact or Enter the Desired Phone Number to Call.
The Service will be inaugurated soon and Free Calls will be offered for US and Canada while nominal Call Rates will apply to the Other Countries.
By the Introduction of this Service Google is in direct competition with Skype a renowned UK Based Website offering Voice and Video Chat, Conferencing and Calling Services for the last Seven years.
The Internet Giant Google is currently spending a lot of funds on its Research and Development Department t0 come up with exciting and Innovative Features.
By Entering into the Various Fields of Internet Industry Google has created problems for the already existent established Service Providers. Google has started to Capture a handsome Market Share by Offering Quick and Innovative Services to the End customers.
