No Jailbreak for iOS 4.0.2 or iOS 3.2.2

The iPhone Dev Team have announced that they won’t be releasing the Jailbreak for the iOS 4.0.2 or iOS 3.2.2.

Two weeks earlier Apple had announced the Firmware Update 4.0.2. This Update fixed the Security vulnerability used by Jailbreakme.com for unlocking the Apple Devices.

Citing a reason for not releasing Jailbreak for the iOS 4.0.2 of iPhone and iPod Touch while iOS 3.2.2 for the iPad iPhone Dev Team explained that Apple had updated the Firmware version to close doors of Jailbreak in the Firmware.

This new Security Feature by Apple does not allow Jailbreak to be Done on iPhone and iPod Touch Firmware 4.0.2 while iPad Firmware 3.2.2.

However, the User’s of iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2nd Genration (Non MC MOdel) User’s can Use RedSnow (V0.9.5b5-5) to Jailbreak iOS 4.0.2.
