iTunes 10 was released yesterday on September 02 2010.

Reviewing the iTunes Update One Must say that User Interface has been modified. The Color has been taken off from the sidebar and the Traffic Light Colored Buttons that are the Window Controls have been displaced from the sidebar.

The vertical placement of Windows Control Buttons above the Library is visible in the iTunes 10.  For the User’s who like the Windows Buttons in the Sidebar unfortunately can not bring the Window Control Buttons to the sidebar but can restore the placement of Window Control Buttons to their Former Horizontal arrangement.

All the User’s need to do is to Quit iTunes. Wait Until iTunes is completely closed. Now Open the Accessories and Point Towards the Utilities. In the Utilities Menu The User will Find Terminal. Open the Terminal. A Terminal window will emerge on the Screen

Open Accessories – Utilities  - Terminal.

Once the Terminal Window is opened the User needs to paste the Following Code into the Terminal Screen and  Hit Return Button

defaults write com.apple.iTunes full-window -1

Now when the User will reopen the iTunes he will observe that the Traffic Light Window control Buttons are back into their Former Position as they were in the predecessor versions. They are arranged on the top of the windows horizontally.

This change of User Interface by Apple indicates towards the redesigned Control Buttons and User Interface in the upcoming versions of the MAC Operating system.

If a User wants to restore the Default settings for the iTunes 10. All he needs to do is to open the Accessories and Point Towards Utilities. Open the Termainal Window. Type the Following Code into the Terminal Window and Hit Return Button

defaults write com.apple.iTunes full-window -0

Once the Process is completed on reopening iTunes 10 the User’s will observe the rearrangement of control Buttons in the iTunes User Interface according to the default settings and layout.

The Updated Version of the iTunes was hard to Download for many User’s yesterday but it seems that the things have eased up a bit and user’s are able to Download the Latest iTunes 10 in the Personal Computers.
