Apple have released their first Major Update iOS 4.1 for the Existing Firmware on the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Apple iOS4.1 is a free update for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch Devices. The iPhone and iPod Touch can be updated to iOS 4.1 from the iTunes once the Device is connected to Sync.

In the Apple iOS 4.1 New Features have been added while Bugs in the predecessor version have been repaired in this version.

The Noticeable New Additive Features are the High Dynamic Range (HDR) Pictures and Photo’s support.

The Game Center has been added.  The User’s who utilize the Face Time Video calling Feature can now place Facetime calling Shortcut on the App’s Favourite Tab.

In iOS 4.1 the Videos’ in High Definition (HD) Quality can be uploaded to the famous Video sharing websites like You Tube and Mobile Me through utilizing the Wi-fi connectivity.

In the Apple iOs 4.1 there exists a support for playing the TV Shows that are rented from the iTunes.

Taking a glimpse at the Bugs that have been fixed then Apple have closed a number of Security lapse holes in their firmware iOS 4.1. Some of the Security Vulnerabilities have been corrected in this update.

Some of the Major Bugs that have been fixed include the Proximity Sensor Issue that caused the Device to hang when a Call was in progress. The low Audio Quality issue when using Bluetooth accessories has also been fixed.

Overall the Apple iOs 4.1 Update looks Quite Appealing and the User’s of iPhone 3Gs will find iOS 4.1 a good update for their existing firmware.
