The internet giant Google is to release its updated Android Gingerbread OS sometime soon and speculations have started to creep up pointing to the possible Video Chat feature integrated in the upcoming Android Gingerbread OS update.
The Google has not officially designed its video chat feature in the Android OS powered Smart Phones although the facility to make video calls through Google Video Chat is available on the Android Honeycomb OS powered Tablets.
Rumors are circulating that suggest Google Video Chat function to serve as an alternative for Skype and Qik two of the free popular video calls services.
Some developers have released their third party apps to serve as video calls platform over the Android OS but it may be possible that Google is now integrating Video calls facility in the upcoming Android Ginger Bread OS update.
