  • Filed under: Daily Life Foodistan 8 Pakistani chefs ready to compete their Indian counterparts by Young Aspirations on Jan 23rd, 2012

8 Pakistani chefs are all set to compete their Indian counterparts in an Indian cooking reality show called Foodistan.

It was nearly a month ago when we heard about a mega music reality show “Sur Kshetra” being organized by an Indian TV Channel Sahara One that aims to be a battle between Indian and Pakistani singers.

Now here comes “Foodistan” another Indo-Pak 2012 battle but in the kitchen.

The show Foodistan is unique in its kind featuring 16 professional chefs with balanced representation i.e 8 highly skilled chefs from Pakistan and 8 chefs from India.

The show will comprise of Pakistani chefs showing their real exquisite cuisine supremacy.

The Foodistan is a 26 part series that was shot silently in November 2011, within Guragon a city in Indian state of Haryana to avoid any special attention or on the spot controversy.

Foodistan is ready to experience airplay from January 23rd onwards on a rather infamous Indian channel called NDTV GoodTimes but may be some Pakistani channel telecasts this one in the future. The show is scheduled to telecast three days a week Monday to Wednesday 9.30 pm (Indian Standard Time).

Taking a quick view the show will comprise of a format similar to Masterchef where the Chefs from each country will be awarded a stipulated time to prepare their new dishes and afterwards a panel of judges will gonna taste the dishes to announce who’s going to get eliminated. The show has been completed and winner announced but kept confidential to maintain the suspense and grab viewers attention.

The show is hosted by Aly khan and Ira Dubey while the panel of Judges comprises of

    1- Merrilees Parker

Merriless Parker is a popular British Celebrity Chef.

    2- Sonya Jehan

A so called Pakistani with French Descent who is the grand daughter of legendary Pakistani singer Noor Jehan.

    3- Vir Sanghvi

An Indian Food enthusiast who traveled the world to taste different cuisines.

Well let me be clear not even a single reputed chef from Pakistan has traveled to India for taking part in the show rather infamous chefs who were unable to make a name in Pakistan have opted for this shortcut.

A brief introduction to the eight Pakistani chefs trying their luck out in this reality show are

    1- Poppy Agha

Khurshid Amina Agha commonly known as Poppy Agha is a lively and talented chef who hosts “The Taste of Fusion” on Dawn news.

    2- Akhtar Rehman

Akhtar Rehman has roots to Mardan, a city in Khyber Pakhtunkuah Province of Pakistan. Working at the famous Pakistani Top Notch Hotel “Mariott Islamabad” was a pleasant experience for him when he had two dishes “Murgh Zandan” and “Gola Kabab” under his label.

    3- Amir Iqbal

Amir Iqbal works on Zaiqa TV Pakistan featuring in their mainstream show called “Zaiqeedar”.

    4- Muhammad Ikram

Muhammad Ikram is a key team member of chefs working at the Dumpukht Restauraunt based in Pearl Continental Hotel Pakistan owned by the famous Hashoo group.

    5- Mohammad Naeem

Muhammad Naeem is an author, blogger, traveler and the executive chef at Park Plaza Lahore.

    6- Mehmood Akhtar

Mehmood Akhtar is working as a chef at Avari hotel Lahore.

    7- Noor Khan

    8- Muhammad Saqib

The youngest contestant of the show Muhammad Saqib is a Pakistani origin chef who is based in New Delhi and was the personal cook for many diplomats.

After listening to their names and evaluating their talent I would say Pakistani Team misses out huge names but still if the contest is kept fair then the victory definitely gonna fall in Pakistan’s favor courtesy delicious taste hidden in Pakistani Food.

It seems Indian media has found a new way to multiply their annual revenue. The Indian media that is famous for propagating fake negativity to defame Pakistan has now learned the art of using Pakistani talent to earn huge profits. Sur Kshetra and Foodistan are an effort to develop friendly relations but in reality they are profit generating machines.

Well hope both the two reality show’s run fair and everybody knows if the game is played fair then victory is for Pakistani team in both Sur Kshetra and Foodistan. Anyways lets hope for the best.

How to Choose Suitable Gadget for your Kid

Ever wonder how to choose the most suitable and useful gadget in the ocean of advanced technology powered devices for your kid.

    Kids and Technology

When getting ready to purchase your child a digital appliance such as an e-reader, computer, or a smartphone, there are a few things to consider. First, which would they use the most? Second, when is it appropriate to buy your child one of these? And third, how do you decide which one to buy? The majority of kids will you tell you that they would prefer to have a smartphone over an e-reader or a computer, but ultimately, it is the parent’s decision as to which appliance is best for their child. No matter what you choose, it has to work for your family.

    The E-reader

An e-reader is a digital device that is specialized in doing one thing well: reading e-books. This means screen size is bigger, like an actual book, battery life span is longer which allows you to read continually without draining your battery. Also, lighting aspects on the screen is more comparable to actual paper pages. You can download new reading material to your kid’s e-reader without ever having to visit another bookstore or library. The drawbacks for an e-reader are cost, format and file types, and book availability. An e-reader is much more expensive than a physical book. Over time, format and file types will change and updates will need to be made which means not all versions will be readable. However, it’s far more portable than a stack of books; so long trips in the car are far more comfortable. A young child could certainly handle an e-reader, and it could serve as a stepping stone to a more intricate kind of technology like a computer.

    The Computer

About 70% of families own a computer in their home and most kids know how to operate them at an early age. But when is it time for a child to have his or her own computer? Questions to ask before purchasing may include, will your child utilize the data storage aspect of the computer? Do they know how to type? Do you want them browsing online? Will you be available for technical support? If gaming is the child’s desire, a small device like a DS may be less expensive and requires far less maintenance or parental monitoring. A good rule of thumb is that when a child can master an e-reader independently, he or she is probably ready for a computer, but not yet a smartphone.

    The Smartphone

A smartphone not only comes with computer-like capabilities and e-reader functions, but there are so many extra resources with the smartphone that it is beginning to change the way we look at technology. Smartphones come with a calendar. Not only can your child schedule school projects and extracurricular activities, but the parent can send appointments and activities to the phone and they will appear on the calendar. The smartphone can access the internet virtually anywhere, allowing your child to work on homework while riding the bus home. Additionally, the smartphone can replace many digital appliances that your child carries around already such as a cell phone, ipod (or other digital music player), digital gaming appliance, e-reader and more. Parental control settings are available.

There is no right or wrong age for kids to begin utilizing technology and appliances. But, it’s advantageous to keep in mind the purpose of the device and what you expect your child to do with it. Because everyone wants to get the most out their technology purchases.

This Article is written by J. Steeple. J.Steeple is a writer, blogger, and tech-savvy parent, who wants to get maximize her family’s technology and appliances.

Today i received my exam results and failed 3 out of 4 papers that i attempted. This was quite astonishing for me who prepared extremely hard for the exam and adopted the right strategy by evaluating what exactly does the examiner marking my scripts expects from my writing. The most heartrending thing is that in all the exams i have failed i always fail near the passing percentage by securing just 1% or 2% less marks from the passing marks. Still wondering despite attempting all the questions in the right manner with the right answers how i fail my Subjective examination while on the other hand I secure 90%+ marks in all the computer based objective type exams.

Well, hope this surprising situation won’t hinder my way of success but I want all the readers to share their personal experiences about failing an exam or just passing on margin.

Although I am a diligent and hardworking student who never failed his exam but now this problem of failing the exams is persisting and this is the third time I have failed in my exams although all three different exams but yet surprised Why it has started to happen with me.

Have I turned a bit complacent or self obsessed. It’s time for you guys to figure out where exactly I am going wrong by commenting on this post. You can share your experiences here.

This Article Describes the Truth behind the Indian Conspiracy against Pakistani Cricketers.  Look at the Real Face of Anti- Pakistan Indian Lobby.

Daily Mail News is an Online Pakistani News Paper. This article is the same to same as published in the Daily Mail News Online Edition.

The Lord’s episode another RAW ploy

    • Indian ICC Chief working to get Pak team banned for 3 to5 years
    • Pak govt smell rat behind the match fixing drama
    • Bookie emerges as RAW man, introduced to Indian cricketers by RAW
    • Bookie met Pak player in South Africa at a dinner for the first time in 2009
    • Aamir like young players were the basic target
    • English journalist got 50,000 Pounds to organize fake sting operation for RAW
    • Indian High Commission at London played key role in Bookie’s bail.

International Cricket Council President Sharad Pawar, an Indian national and Scotland Yard are making futile efforts to involve Pakistanis players in spot-fixing with the yearn desire of 2-3 years ban on Pakistan for taking part in International cricket events; reveal the investigations of The Daily Mail.

These investigations indicate that pre-set drama reveals that ICC chief and its members, The News of the World and notorious Indian intelligence agency RAW were the mastermind behind all this planned mess with special focus on putting the career of new teenage pace sensation of Pakistan Muhammad Aamir at stake who emerging as main threat to the batsmen across the world in the coming years.

The Daily Mail’s investigations reveal that picture of Salman Butt along with bookie and some reporter is clearly fabricated and created in photoshop computer programme that is installed at every newspaper office for sure. Furthermore the video of the bookie, Majeed giving Pounds to Wahab Riaz is also a creation.

The Daily Mail’s investigations indicate that the bookie Mazhar Majeed is a RAW front man and holds a key position in RAW’s illicit fund generation programme that includes running Mafia wings, running brothel houses, prostitution syndicates gambling dens, and betting on matches of Cricket, soccer and even tennis. He was merely a ticket blacker at movie theatres in Mumbai till a few years back when was hand picked by RAW like they did it in Chhota Rajan Case and was put under the command of RAW’s Special Operations Division SOD, headed by Chhota Rajan where he was trained for sports betting.

The Daily Mail’s findings further indicate that Majeed was introduced to different bookies at Mumbai, Delhi, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Dubai by RAW official. These findings reveal that in 2007, RAW arranged Majeed’s meeting with Indian Cricket star Sachin Tendulkar, Harbajjan Singh and Rahul Dravid so that so that they can further introduce Majeed to different players of Cricket teams of different countries, specially Pakistan and world cricketers like Shane Watson do confirm the same. These finding further indicate that in September 2009, an Indian businessman Vijay Aaloowalia, based in Cape Town, South Africa hosted a dinner for Pakistani and Indian cricketers on the sidelines of Champions Trophy. Bookie Majeed was also invited to that dinner where some Pakistani players were introduced to him for the first time. Though the trick didn’t work and Pakistan team defeated India easily in that tournament but Majeed remained sniffing Pak players then onwards.

The Daily Mail’s investigations indicate that RAW’s under cover officials at Indian High Commission at London along with Indian London-based Indian diplomats held meetings with some British journalists after which they finally succeed in getting nod from one particular journalist to organize a fake sting operation with connivance of Majeed, who was already operating under the instruction of his agency officials. The reporter also convinced his newspaper that his sting operation was going to be a genuine one. In the meanwhile the Indian High Commission managed to put it in the ears of the officials of the British police that Pakistani players would get indulged into illegal activities while the ICC Chief was already taken on board by Indian High Commission and RAW officials.

These investigations further reveal that the quick bail of Mazhar Majeed was also sponsored by Indian High Commission and RAW as Indian diplomats at London were seen extraordinarily active after the arrest of Majeed. The Daily Mail’s investigations further reveal that some undercover RAW had approach a Lahore-based a female showbiz artists at Dubai last year. She was told that she should be given leading role in an upcoming multi-star Bollywood thriller. Later she was asked to fix a Pakistani fast bowler as he had promised to work in an advertisement of the company of same film maker and later refused while he was already paid. She was launched for the first time in this direction and she has been re-activated now too to add colours to the drama that has been staged in England.

The Daily Mail’s investigations conclude that the basic aim of RAW was to play havoc with the careers of Aamir like young lot of Pak cricketers but when Sharad Pawar was taken on board, he expanded the plan to get the entry of the Pakistan team banned in international cricket for three to five years.

Meanwhile, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that there might be a conspiracy behind the match-fixing scam adding that initial report has been sought from the Scotland Yard. “We will believe only when we have concrete evidence with us,” Malik told media after attending a high level meeting at the National Crisis Management Cell and meeting with Sports Minister Ijaz Jhakrani.

Malik said a preliminary report on the matter had been sought and that the Pakistan government had written to Scotland Yard through Interpol to get more facts. Rehman Malik said that stern action would be taken if any cricketer is found guilty in the match fixing allegations.
He said that investigations have commenced regarding the involvement of cricketers in a match fixing allegation made by British media; an investigative team of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) would visit the United Kingdom to probe the matter after the report of the Scotland Yard. The probe team would search whether or not the match was fixed, or team players were fixed for spot. If any of the players are involved, we will make an example of it and strict action will be taken,” he added.

He said it has been decided to form a 3 member investigative committee consisting of FIA officers and an officer of Ministry of Sports. The ream would consist of Director FIA Admin Headquarter Inam Ghani and Assistant Director FIA Karachi Agha Ishrat while the third member would be nominated by the Sports Minister.

Rehman Malik said that this team would leave for UK after permission from UK. He said that however if the Scotland Yard and Interpol does not provide us the initial report than this team would proceed to UK with or without permission. Meanwhile, Sports Minister Mir Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani said that no charges had been framed against the team so far and until they are charged with something they would continue to play.
Jakhrani stated that alternate team of Pakistan wouldn’t be send to UK for One-day series. He said we would not bring back any player until charges against them are proven. He said that he would meet with Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani after which he would be in the position to say whether PCB chairman should be removed or not

Earlier in the day, PCB Chairman Ijaz Butt said, “There is a case going on over here with Scotland Yard. This is only an allegation. There is still no charge or proof on the account. So at this stage, no action will be taken.”
The ICC’s anti-corruption unit has been asked to submit a report on its investigations within the next three days.

  • Filed under: Daily Life, Technology Will the Gadgets take an Important Part in Human Life? by Young Aspirations on Jun 21st, 2010

A lot of Media Coverage is Given to the newly released Gadgets. Recently a new device was launched by Apple naming iPad and a lot of copies of the iPad were sold within its early days of release. But only in US and some other Countries.

Critics regarded iPad as a good invention by Apple. To be really honest if some one thinks Apple iPad will take an integral part in our lives then he is raising false statements.

The reality can never be concealed from the World. Talking about the impact of these Gadgets, they only last for a few months and after that they disappear when more Technology Rich Gadget is showcased in the market.
The root cause why I am saying the Gadgets could not take an important part in our lives is just that these Gadgets are so abundant and really expensive. By the Time the Prices go down and a person is able to purchase them, a new Model hits the Market and the person who was craving the predecessor model of the Gadget just starts gathering money for the latest model and the series continue ending up with no Gadget possession by the Person.

Another reason is their functionality, The Target Costing applied in various manufacturing Companies evaluates User expectations and requirements and just eliminates some really good features from the product saying that these features do not conform to the utility and Specifications of the Customers.

Logically sequencing the citations I would say that the Global Crash in World Economies has effected a lot of countries throughout the World. In Pakistan it had a mild impact but now it is turning severe.

Poverty is regarded as the greatest handicap in life and a lot of middle class people have immersed into the ocean of poverty while the rich persons have turned middle class that means the graph of purchasing power in the end consumers is falling down with the passage of time.

This just depicts that afford ability of the high priced Gadget is currently really difficult for ordinary people who are the majority in the World Population.

The Verdict goes as this devices may take certain jobs done by other machines but  these devices could possibly fail to become popular.

  • Filed under: Daily Life Rediff.com India Promoting hatred among Pakistan and India by Young Aspirations on May 11th, 2010

One of the most Visited website in India Rediff.com is currently busy in creating a sense of hated among the people of Pakistan and India.

The Internet News Paper of India Rediff.com that is really famous according to the amount of traffic it gets is currently busy in doing propaganda against Pakistan.

According to Alexa Rankings the Website Rediff.Com is ranked within the top 1000 Global websites not because of the Content it possess but just because of the amount of daily traffic it receives.

When you are followed this much by your visitors you need to be really cautious about the content you are providing to your viewers.

Rediff.Com is one of the  irresponsible websites that exist.

Rediff.Com  if it is an Indian News Paper and portrays only news related to India then i have a Question Why do they write Pakistani News and Articles related to Pakistan?.

This means that Rediff.com thinks that India is a part of Pakistan and comes under rule of Pakistan.

Oh…! Come One be sensible Rediff.com. We are Just 170 Million people approximately while you are almost 1200 Million in numbers just a rough estimate as I have no interest in India.

Still you people do not have enough to produce by your own brains.

You copy Pakistani Music, You do not have your own coaches so you call Pakistani Players to train your sports Persons,You people copy Pakistani Format to Telecast News on TV,You people copy Pakistani novels and make films and Drama Serials On Them,You People Watch Pakistani Websites more then Indian Ones, You People call our Comedians for Performing in your shows, You people always follow our corporate sector to copy some ideas for your economy.

In precise words you always imitate us.

Come On Rediff.Com do not be Furious as Truth is always Bitter in Taste. We have no objections if your act of copying Pakistani Ideas.

All we want is you to just acknowledge the fact that this thing is inspired by Pakistani Artist or we are thankful to Pakistani Coaches for their Co-operation.

It does not take long to admit that you have learned something from others and credit must be given to the person behind the success not the one who enjoys success. Only open minded people are able to perform these things.

History has always unveiled the bad attitude of India. When we Pakistani’s are trying our level best to maintain peace among the region by narrowing down the hatred and giving a message of peace and harmony to India by the name of the campaign “Aman Ki Asha”.

In the response of “Aman Ki Asha” why do we always get “Jalan Ki Bhasha” from India.

Why do they envy Pakistan. I mean Pakistan is a Nation that is full of talent. We have full capacity to conquer the World through our talent and why Indians are so jealous of Pakistan.

Why they always raise false allegations on Pakistan. I mean Pakistan has no interest in India. We have some serious Issues to think about rather then India.

This is ridiculous man I mean we do not care about India as we have a lot of serious aspects to think about but India’s mind is always obsessed with the fear of Pakistan.

Why is India so insecure. My sincere advice to India will be that think about your own.  Do not look at others just think what you are doing and that is it. If you are Good no one will be Bad towards you. Just be your own and nothing else. Pakistan always welcomes you with open arms for Friendship.

Coming back to the main topic well Rediff.com has a very bad administration. They have a message Board which is full of haters.

Whenever there is a news about Pakistan they are so jealous and write bad things about Pakistan. Make fun of the news and as a habit raise false allegations on Pakistan.

Pakistani websites on the other hand have a very robust censorship system. They do not let any abusive language published on their blogs or websites. Just because we Pakistani’s believe in quality of content.

Rise Dream .Com is a Pakistani website and I get some traffic from India. It is just because whenever we Pakistani’s launch a product we have its global impact in our minds. We think whenever a thing is made it is meant to cater a global Audience. we do not confine things only to one region. This is the reason why Pakistani Webmasters are far more popular then others.

If you read a news about Pakistan on Rediff.com and read the comments below in the message board you will observe by yourself that Rediff.Com is just about propaganda against Pakistan.

I humbly request to the Administrator of Rediff .Com that please do not let such comments published on your website. If you have such a popular website then please do maintain quality. We Pakistani’s never engage in a battle against anyone as this is our culture to welcome our enemies without any grudges in our hearts when they visit us or need our assistance.

I hope this Article will create some awareness about Rediff.com and hopefully they will quit their depiction of enmity with Pakistan.

I Openly apologize to everybody who has his feelings hurt after reading this article as we are not creating a negative aspect of some thing. All what is done is a mere endeavor to end all this hatred.
