If you are living in Pakistan and use electronic or print media either directly or indirectly then you might be aware of the recent buzz circulating in the media regarding the upcoming music vocal singing reality show called“Sur Ki Baazi” on Geo TV Pakistan or the same“Sur Kshetra” on Sahara One India featuring 10 contestants from each India and Pakistan.

As you might have heard about the show being a battle between Indian and Pakistani singers so now I won’t be wasting your time by filling this post with irrelevant stuff. Just refer to an old story published on my blog last year

Kshetra Pakistan India Music Reality Show 2012 Auditions in Pakistan

In this detailed post I informed everybody about the upcoming auditions for a big music reality TV show called “Sur Kshetra” which was all set to get airplay on Sahara One an Indian TV Channel. This post was published on 24th December 2011 and we clearly told all interested parties that auditions in Karachi were already held at that time on 23 December 2011 and were due to be conducted in Lahore on Sunday 25th December 2011 at Royal Palm Golf and Country Club. I am not sure but somebody posted on Facebook the auditions in Islamabad were conducted silently on December 16th 2011 but that’s not confirm.

As expected the preliminary auditions were held as scheduled, afterwards a mega audition was done in Lahore comprising contestants from across Pakistan where Atif Aslam was the judge and all work was completed on 28th December 2011.

Another Pakistani website Pakium backs my opinion as this guy was present at the Karachi auditions venue.

If you read my post I speculated about GEO TV to on air this show in Pakistan and things unfolded rightly so.

“Sur Ki Baazi” “Sur Kshetra” Pakistan Auditions controversial aspect

The controversy took tide when I was shocked to see GEO TV airing the promo for the auditions of the show that were poised to be conducted on 17th and 18th January 2012. I thought the auditions had already been conducted and the 10 selected candidates flew to Dubai on 13th January 2012 so kept my lips tightly zipped and did not update my previous post.

Now just see what happened, when the auditions were conducted on 17th and 18th January 2012 the judges were Muhammad Ali from Suroor Band in karachi “Venue Khayaban e Rahat Club DHA” and Shaukat Ali in Lahore “Ali Auditorium Ferozepur Road”.

Much hype was created regarding the show so I even heard about a few potential candidates flying to Pakistan from Middle East countries just to try their luck out for this mega reality show but in vein as the contestants were already finalized and even shot the promos and final auditions in Dubai by that time and final rehearsals for the first episode were done on 18th January 2012 when Geo TV was busy hunting the so called talent.

Now on Facebook, some guys posted about the mismanagement at the auditions venue, they told the singers were not allowed to hum more then a few words, registration through SMS was not mandatory and at the venue all the candidates were given equal chances regardless of whether they registered themselves or not.

Now here comes the real twist, Atif Aslam announced on his Official Facebook Fan Page on Wednesday 18 January 2012

“I wish I was there to select my team at the auditions on 17th and 18th Jan”

When I saw the auditions promo getting airplay on GEO TV I was startled to see Atif Aslam taking the auditions while sitting in the front of Sur Kshetra Banner conducting auditions, when Atif missed Karachi auditions so how come GEO TV shoot such promos in Atif’s Absence. Refer to my previous posts where I told you guys to keep in touch with Elixir Media and Productions Facebook Page. Had you followed that page on December 23 and December 25 they posted the pictures from auditions that were conducted by Atif Aslam and I am not 100% sure but i think the same auditions have been on aired on GEO TV as promo.

I think the one’s who invented the marketing idea of creating such a hype forgot that we are living in 2012 not 2002 where the penetration of Internet and social media websites beyond geographical barriers have changed the way we communicate.

For all those geeks who still doubt my opinion by saying how could such a reputed channel do such undervalued act then here comes my next evidence

Here is the list of 10 contestants from Pakistan who flew to Dubai on 13 January 2012 and have shot not only their auditions but also the first episode in which a Pakistani singer Faraz Nayyar got eliminated.

Nadeem Abbas hails from Lahore and was runner up in a famous reality singing show called “Khiladi Sur Taal Ke” on ATV Pakistan back in 2006. According to my anticipation he is one of the strongest candidates in Pakistani team and I think he will gonna represent Pakistani side in the finals.

Ameer Ali is not an alien face on the media who gained fame while he won the famous singing show called “Gao Celebrity Ban Jao” season 1 on GEO TV. Ameer Ali is from Karachi.

Faraz Nayyar is an upcoming Pakistani singer who studied at FC College Lahore. Faraz is the first Pakistani contestant to announce his elimination from the show on 19th January 2011 Thursday just one day after GEO TV finished its auditions.

“First of all im thankful to God and all of you for your prayers and best wishes. Today was not my day …my journey of sur kshetra ended today my performance was week due to i am having cough infection but im not tense there are some good news for me some new projects hurrah….”

Well as these are the 10 contestants the host of the show is “Ayesha Takia” a famous Indian Movie actress while the judges of the show are Runa Laila from Bangladesh, Asha Bhosle from India and Abida Parween from Pakistan.

Pakistani team coach in the show is Rustam Fateh Ali Khan. The official Facebook Fan page of Sur kshetra itself admit the first episode for the show has been shot, if GEO TV is right in its opinion then how come the contestants move to Dubai so early.

Although we had the shows of the same format in the past like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 and 2009 on Zee TV along with Junoon Kuch Kar Dikhane Ka on NDTV but lets not forget Choote Ustaad on Star Plus all of them produced the same undesirable biased results from India when despite excelling Indian counterparts Pakistani’s had to face blatantly unfair elimination on the grounds of grabbing less votes from Indian viewers.

Although as Pakistani team is led by Atif Aslam so Pakistani team will have an edge over their Indian counterparts who will be led by Himesh Reshamiyya as the soothing voice, adorable personality and stardom of Pakistani star Atif Aslam will wipe off slogans of Himesh Reshamiyya. I expect this show to be a super duper hit courtesy Pakistani talent but let’s not underestimate Indian singers as they might be well prepared for the show.

Well this time around i expect the same cheating as we observed in the past due to the solid reason of Indian management behind the show. The jury and judges for the show along with the host are still undecided but its expected that this time the show will be a mix of Pakistani judges and Indian one’s.

One of the funny things about the show is that Himesh Reshamiyya has demanded the promo of the show to be re-shot as his face appears too plump (bulky/heavy/fat) while Atif looks awesome with his gorgeous looks.

The promo of the Indian singer Himesh reshamiyya is here but the promo for Atif and Pakistani team is not available yet but will roll out soon so keep your fingers crossed.

Pakistan Music Star – Pop Singing Competition on Ary Digital

Pakistan Music Stars – The Ultimate Pop Sensation is a new grand level singing competition for Pakistani Singers. The show will be unique as the contestants have been distributed in 5 different teams with a mentor, while the mentor obviously being a famous Pakistani Vocalist Singer. The show will get air play on Ary Digital Pakistan every Sunday at 10pm from 4th September 2011 onwards. After a break of couple of years Pakistani Young Talented Singers have managed to get yet another opportunity to showcase their singing talent to the world in the form of a new reality singing contest called “Pakistan Music Stars – The Ultimate Pop Sensation”.

Ary Digital which is among the top 8 TV Channels in Pakistan according to viewership statistics is all ready to on air a grand singing competition for Pakistani Youth called “Pakistan Music Stars” The Ultimate Pop Singing Sensation.

The show is claimed to be the biggest of its kind and will start to go on air from 4th of September 2011 on Ary Digital Pakistan. Pakistan Music Stars on Ary Digital will be different with the fact of teams. Five teams will accommodate more contestants surpassing the 12 contestants limit in the road towards the grand finale. It is expected for the teams to clash and gain points every week. After few episodes the low scoring team will be eliminated and the trend will continue until we reach two out of total three teams for the grand finale.

The promos of the show Pakistan Music Stars are quite attractive and now the air play on Sunday 4th September 10 pm will suggest the quality of the show.

The candidates were called for auditions of “Pakistan Music Stars” in July 2011 and now the show has finalized its contestants so no chance for regular entry but may be the show organizers introduce wild card entry at some point in the show.

History of Reality Singing Contests in Pakistan

Well although Pakistani channels have been airing Music Competitions since long and one of the contest in early and mid 1990′s “Music Challenge” on NTM managed to produce quality singers like Shiraz Uppal, Humaira Arshad, Shazia Manzoor, Waris Baig etc. In addition PTV used to on air singing competitions that hunted tuned and trained singers like Rahim Shah and many others on a regular basis until 2002 when all the contests vanished due to poor governance and nepotism in PTV Strategic Management and arrival of Private TV Channels.

This year we saw “Azme Alishan” the National Song singing contest organized its season 2 that did not get the appreciation it deserved due to monopoly of third class Indian Content on major TV Channels of Pakistan. Azm e Alishan was a very good show that revived the spirit of patriotism and lots of new quality National Songs were produced in the show.

We heard about a show called “Surun Ka Jahan” that was all set to go on air on a famous TV channel of Pakistan this year while the auditions were open until 9th May 2011 but it seems the project is still in the pipeline. If we look at history of grand level singing shows organized in Pakistan then we remember 2006 when ATV inaugurated their unique singing talent show “Khiladi Sur Taal Ke” that hunted some sensational singers from Pakistan out which a couple of singers like Musarrat Abbas, Faraz Butt represented Pakistan in “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge” on Zee TV India. In late 2006 and 2007 a Karachi based singing show called “Gao Celebrity Ban Jao” on Geo TV also hunted some very competent singers out of which two Sikandar and Wasi Effandi represented Pakistan in “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007″.

After that we witnessed Indus Vision the oldest and largest Private Satellite TV Channel organizing their first Nationwide Singing Talent Hunt Contest called “Pakistan Sangeet Icon” whose season 1 was a massive hit with discoveries of above the mark singers like Asad Abbas from Faisalabad and Haroon Shahid the lead vocalist of SYMT Band. The show was supposed to continue for years to come but the failure of Pakistan Sangeet Icon Season 2 due to incompetent Judges who ignored precious talent was a major factor for the discontinuation.

We saw LG Awaaz Banaey Star on Geo TV in 2009 that was also a major flop due to the out of tune untrained singers, irrelevantly lengthy continued for more then one year and obsolete format.

Geo TV impaired “Pakistan Idol” the globally renowned Singing Contest on Din News in 2007 by claiming they have the rights for the show. In all the fight Geo TV ditched due to which the show was called off and postponed for infinite period of time.

Now lets see if we get to see more Singing Talent being hunted in fertile land of Pakistan which is the hub for original and quality music.

We are living in the era of Information Technology. The access to internet has turned communication of information across the world into a simple task.

Since childhood I have been listening to the quote which states Talent knows no boundaries. If one is talented his work will be admired beyond boundaries. The same is said in the context of music and arts.

Recently I was browsing You Tube and was shocked to see that these Indians who are born to steal the work of Pakistan and other countries have yet again stolen a recently famous Pakistani Tune from Coke Studio Season 3. The Song “Alif Allah” sung by Arif Lohar in Coke Studio 3 along with “Sayyoni” the song released in 1990′s by famous Pakistani Rock Band “Junoon” is being stolen by a Legendary Indian Singer Asha Bhosle who has many admirers across the world.

When i listened to the song i was shocked with the fact the she ruined the entire tune as Indians do at least she proved to be an Indian. To my surprise she was involved in stealing Pakistani song in an awards ceremony called “Great Indian Music Awards 2011″. Such hilarious title “Great Indian Music” well i think we could have issued a verdict if Indians had some thing original in their Music Industry but the Indian Music consist of ripoff of Pakistani Tunes.

Since 1947 Indians envy Pakistan but at the same time follow their work and then imitate it without major modifiactions. It is the technology through which I can pass the mesage of Indian Plagarism to the entire world.

It is not surprising to me as young Pakistani Boy because what could i expect from a country that even steals music from promotional campaigns created by Pakistani Politicians and claim to be the owners of Tune. Indians have never showcased any thing good about Pakistan and their main ambition is to hate Pakistani’s but they even stole “Dil Dil Pakistan” a Pakistani patriotic song by Vital Signs in late 1980′s.

I strongly condemn this rude activity of Indians on one hand they claim themselves to the best music industry in the world but on the other hand they don’t have minds to create original stuff, rather rely on the work stolen from Pakistani and other countries with no gratitude. The thing I hate most about Indian is that they never acknowledge anybody else they are always self obsessed and think only they are the one’s following right track. One could overlook a few occasions when Pakistani work is stolen but when everything is stolen from various origins irrespective of music genre then voice should be raised against such ethically incorrect activities. In old times before arrival of Internet even the originators could be unaware if their work was stolen in India. Asha Bholse though she would escape this time around as she did in the past due to lack of IT infrastructure but why should such scrap singers be called Legends when they don’t even deserve to label themselves as musicians.

Hollywood and Pakistani Lollywood movies are cloned in Bollywood as well as Pakistani Novels are pirated into Indian movies.

I would like to ask all the fans of Indian Music why don’t you people get a life and listen to the original tunes instead of supporting the Indian Thieves.

If I start counting the work stolen by Indians the list is infinite and the words will exhaust but the theft of Indians won’t finish at all. These 1200 Million people steal the work of Just 170 Million Pakistani’s.

All the Indian Music Listeners should revisit whom they listen and Why?.

As Music is creativity so a musician should create symphony through his own mind instead of taking inspiration from other tunes already playing in his fraternity.

One of the most popular Music Awards Ceremony in India was organized in by Radio Mirchi Fm 98.3 where Pakistani artists dominated over all the prestigious music awards.

The Pakistani Diamond Amanat Ali who won the hearts of many music lovers while performing at Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 in India won the award for the Best Music Album in 2010 for his extraordinary debutant Music Album Kohram.  His song “Thumri” from the Album “Kohram” won the award for the best pop song of the year 2010.

The Pakistani Singer Najam Shiraz whose songs were stolen by dumb Indian music directors also won the award for the best upcoming male vocalist in 2010 for his song “Tere Bina” in the movie “Shaapit”.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan the Sufi Gem of Pakistan won the award for the Best Male Vocalist of the year for his song “Tere Mast Mast Do Nain”. The song “Sajda” sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in the movie “My Name is Khan” managed to receive the award for the Best Sufi Song of the year.

Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan was also nominated for various Categories but unfortunately could not receive an award.  Shiraz Uppal won the award for Best Upcoming Music Director fior his song “Rabba” in the Movie Ashayein.

It is not the first time that the Pakistani Music Industry marked their triumph at an award ceremony in India. Earlier in 2005 Pakistani Music Artists like Atif Aslam, Faakhir, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and many other’s dominated Sahara Awards Ceremony 2005 held by Sahara One a popular Indian TV Channel.

Pakistani Music Industry is the best in the world. We will soon rock the World. It is quite pleasing to see Pakistani Artists on the top.  Pakistan Zindabaad.

Choote Ustaad is the Indian Singing Reality Show that is featuring 10 Pakistani Singers and 10 Indian Singers Performing in a Group of Two Singers one from Pakistan and one from India. The Choote Ustaad Show is currently going on Air on Geo TV Pakistan and Star Plus TV Channel India.

The Strongest and by far the Best Singer in the Show Syed Mair Hassan Got Eliminated from the Show due to Foolish Voting of Indian Audience.  I thing is worth mentioning here, when half of the Singers are from Pakistan and the show is watched in Pakistan on Geo TV then why Voting from Pakistan is not allowed.

Pakistan is a country which sends a lot of SMS daily and is in the Ranking of Most SMS Sending Countries so Indians are insecure that Geo TV Will earn High Revenue from Voting in Pakistan and as well as only Deserving and Talented singers will be picked up by Pakistani Audience because we have sense of distinguishing between Good and Bad so Indians will have less chance of keeping their favourite Out of Tune Weak Singers in the Show.

Syed Mair Hassan was declared the strongest and most eligible contestant to win the Contest along with his Indian Partner Mayuri Dev. Syed Mair Hassan is from Karachi Pakistan and he wanted to win the Choote Ustaad Contest for illuminating the name of Pakistan and His Family but Jealous Indians were so insecure that they did not dare to vote for Mair Hassan because they were thinking that the Title will go to a person who thinks being a Pakistani. But Indians forgot One thing that no Doubt which Group Wins the Title will be shared by Pakistan and India.

In Indian Reality Shows Whenever a Contestant from Pakistan speaks in Favor of Pakistan he gets eliminated. The same happened in Sa Re Ga Ma PA Challenge 2007 on Zee TV India and in Junoon Kuch kar Dikhane Ka on NDTV India.

These Jealous Indians always trying to promote the Weakest Singers from Pakistan who could present a bad face of Pakistan in front of entire World. They have kept the weakest singer in the Contest RoseMary who is a Pakistani Christain and lives in extreme Poverty in Pakistan and Indians have just kept her  in the show as a weapon to Showcase the Image of Pakistan that does not even comprise of 0.1% of Pakistani’s. The Father of Rose mary tries to Defame the name of Pakistan in front of the entire Audience through his Under Valued Actions and Speech. Whenever his Daughter is about to get eliminated he Repeats the same Innocence Drama.

We may expect Rohan Abbas the second Most Strong Singer in the Contest to get eliminated next week because he said he wants to fulfill the Expectations and Dream of Pakistan and His parents by grabbing the Trophy of Choote Ustaad 2010 so this statement is indeed indigestible for Foolish Indians and they will be repenting upon making Rohan the Singer of the Week.

We may Expect Non Deserving group Winning the Choote Ustaad 2010 Contest because these Indians never want a Strong Singer to win a Reality Show.  Every Time Non Deserving People are Declared Winners.

Mair Hassan will be missed by his Fans across the World in Choote Ustaad 2010. This is the reason why Sensible Pakistani’s avoid travelling to India because this type of Scenario is Created by Indians welcoming Sensible Pakistani’s like the One with Mair Hassan in India because no Doubt How much Extent of Patience we show and Message of Peace we Deliver to India for the time being Indians will pretend they are our Friends but in reality they will try their level best to Harm Pakistan and Pakistani’s.

She Looks like a Hindu and We Should Punish her harshly to stop other Traitors from doing the Same.

Choote Ustaad Season 2 is an Indian Musical Reality Show that is currently Telecasted on Star Plus TV Channel India.

The Show is featuring 10 Kids from Pakistan and 10 Kids from India. The Children are asked to perform in Group of two singers each. Each Group out of total 10 groups have 1 Singer from Pakistan and 1 Singer from India.

After the appearance of Pakistani Kids in the Indian Reality TV Show a famous Pakistani TV Channel Geo TV Decided to Telecast the Show in Pakistan.

Talking about Choote Ustaad that Pakistani Media is giving so much coverage to “Aman Ki Asha”  a Peace message from Pakistan to India while Indians are responding as “Jalan Ki Bhasha”  a Mesage of Enmity and Hatred.

The Reality Show Choote Ustaad is an effort of India to present a very Poor and Bad image of Pakistan to the entire world. This time they have collected 10 Kids out of which 8 Kids belong to extremely poor families in Pakistan and are using them as a weapon to Defame Pakistan.

This time they have even acquired the services of a Pakistani Qawwali Singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan as a Judge in the Show.  Rahat Fateh Ali Khan speaks against Pakistan in the Show.

Two Pakistani kids Mair Hassan and Wania Jibran sang Hindu Bhajans in Choote Ustaad Season 2 that is really tragic.

When they sang Bhajans Pakistani Judge of the show Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was extremely pleased with them and gave them a standing Ovation. He said that as a Pakistani singing Bhajan is a difficult task but he is happy on these Kids performing such things in India.

Now is this good to sing Bhajans.  Just For some small Amount of Money and Greed of Fame these people are committing such indecent acts.

The Parents/Guardians who accompany these Kids are singers themselves and speak infidelity words on the sets of Choote Ustaad. They are not loyal to their country and Religion.

I mean What is the purpose of taking these Kids in India when we have Bad Relations with India.  Even if You have taken these kids to India Why are you speaking Hindu Words, adopting Indian Culture and speaking against Pakistan.

Indians are always working against Pakistan while wearing the veil of Friendship.

Geo TV In Pakistan deletes all these weird Scenes inappropriate for Pakistani Audiences otherwise there would have been an intense reaction in Pakistan.

The Choote Ustaad Show was on aired on 14 and 15 of August 2010.  This time Choote Ustaad Management celebrated 15 August as the Independence Day special episode of India.

No Pakistani Kid was allowed to sing Pakistani Patriotic songs on 14 August 2010 while Indians sang their patriotic Tunes on 15 August 2010.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan wished a Happy Independence day to Indians and said that we want to see a prosperous India.

Recently A Pakistani Singer turned Actor Ali Zafar who has acted in a Bollywood Indian Movie Tere Bin Laden was asked by an Indian journalist that would he say “Hindustan Zindabaad”.  In reply as  a true Pakistani he plainly refused and said that he Loves Pakistan and can never say such thing.

Earlier when Pakistani Singers performed in Indian singing shows they sang Pakistani Patriotic Songs on Indian Soil.  This was hard to digest for Indians so this time they deliberately Decided to strictly stop Pakistani kids from singing Pakistani National Songs in India.

Geo TV Did not telecast 15 August Independence Day Special Episode of Choote Ustaad in Pakistan.

Moreover, These 10 Pakistani Kids and their Guardians have started to receive threats from Indian Groups. These Indian Groups have demanded these Pakistani Singers to leave Indian Territory otherwise get ready to face severe circumstances. These Terror Groups may Harm Pakistani Kids.

Earlier a famous Pakistani comedian Shakeel Siddiqui was assaulted in India by Indian terrorists.

When he was asked about his Favorite song in the Movie by Hassan the Administrator of ApniISp.Com Imran Khan answered “Bin Tere”. The song has vocals from a Pakistani Classical Rock Singer Shafqat Amanat Ali. When Hassan asked Imran about his views on Shafqat Amanat Ali he praised Shafqat Amanat Ali.

Imran Khan further added that he listens to a lot of Pakistani Music. He took the name of “Noori” a Popular Rock Music Band in Pakistan with Ali Noor on lead Vocals.
